Your AI teammate,
in your terminal.
One command. Real work.

Give your coding agent a teammate that knows your business. Connect your knowledge, add a chat bubble, and put eesel to work from the terminal you already use.

BRING YOUR OWN AGENT

Your agent can take it from here.

Copy this prompt into Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, or another coding agent with terminal access. It will ask what you want to connect and handle the rest.

From your terminal to your customers.

Connect your business knowledge, test how your agent responds, and bring it to your website. All from the workflow you already use.

Give your AI agent the knowledge it needs

Connect the tools where your knowledge already lives, like Confluence, Notion, Google Docs, or your help center, or upload files from your terminal. The moment it’s in, every channel can use it: Slack, your helpdesk, your website chat. Here, a Slack question that had no answer a minute ago gets one.

Test your agent before you go live

Turn the automation on in test mode. It tags, assigns, and replies as internal notes only, so you can check its work against your policies and fix anything before a customer sees it.

Bring your AI agent to your website

One command creates the chat bubble and returns the embed snippet. Your coding agent adds it to your layout, and customers get answers from the same agent you just tested.

Start with one command.

Let your agent handle the setup, or follow these steps in your terminal.

Sign in or create your workspace

Opens your browser to sign in to eesel, or create a workspace if you don’t have one. Everything you connect next lands there.

npx @eesel/cli login
02

Give it your website

Create an agent and chat channel, start reading your site, and get the embed snippet. Add that snippet to your website.

npx @eesel/cli init chat-bubble --site https://your-site.com
03

Ask your first question

Once your website content is ready, test an answer. Keep chatting to refine how your teammate helps.

npx @eesel/cli chat "What does this site do?"

Check progress with npx @eesel/cli status. For an existing agent, use --agent to choose it. Full command reference ↗

A few things you might be wondering.

The eesel CLI is a command-line interface for your eesel AI teammate. Use it to chat, set up a website chat bubble, connect a helpdesk, upload knowledge, manage automations, and review held actions from your terminal.

Yes. Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, and other agents with terminal access can run the CLI. Commands return JSON, including useful error hints. Copy the setup prompt above into your agent and complete any browser authorization it needs.

Run npx @eesel/cli login first. It opens your browser to sign in or create a free workspace, so everything you connect afterwards lands in the right place. If you skip it, init creates an anonymous workspace with $5 of usage for 7 days that you can claim later with login.

Yes. The CLI and dashboard use the same workspace and agent. Your knowledge, integrations, and instructions are shared. Anything you set up in one is available in the other.

Yes. Set EESEL_API_URL and EESEL_API_TOKEN for an existing workspace to authenticate without a browser. Use EESEL_AGENT_ID or --agent to choose the agent. Keep credentials in your environment’s secret store. Connections that require browser authorization must be authorized separately.

Node.js 18.17 or newer to use npx @eesel/cli. You can also install it globally with npm install -g @eesel/cli and then use the shorter eesel command. The documentation also includes a standalone installer.
